What is the short term energy price/oil price tipping point of democracy's survival?

At what price per barrel will the USA and it's government cease to exist? Is this how communists/Al Qaida is planning to destroy the United States from inside out?What is the short term energy price/oil price tipping point of democracy's survival?
I think it may have already reached that point.


We now have Liberals in our Congress demanding we Nationalize the production of energy.

Well, I don't think it has to do with communists or Al Qaeda. It has to do with the current president that we have right now. Over the past 8 years he has mis managed our economy. We can't necessarily control what the prices are, but I can tell you this. The reason why the barrels of oil are increasing at a steady rate is due to what is called ';supply and demand';. What that means, is that if the resources become scarce, then the person in charge will natuarlly hike up the value on it to make more of a profit. If resources are not scarce and readily available then prices will level out. But what the people overseas have done, is hike up the prices in order to meet the demand. I do think however that it will take a toll on the U.S. as a whole, and you already see that with the rising gas prices.. so either way it effects us in some way or another..
People will say this is the problem that Bush has made. The truth be told it started back in the 70's and we have let it get out of control. I think OPEC has push us to our limits and maybe we can get control back if people will stop using it so much. Everyone needs to cut back at least 25% on there usage and it will send a message to OPEC and the oil companies. Also we produce the food that feeds the countries we buy oil from. Lets say you keep your oil and we will keep our food and see who lasts the longest. This would be cruel, but it would set their people to seeing our way without a war.
It's when the quantity supplied almost ceases and civilians cannot use their cars and lawnmowers is when they will start rioting and threaten the government.





Of course liberals are dead scared that they will be the first to be murdered so they want to revoke our Second Amendment.
The short term effects of high energy causes does not threaten democracy. If the world has reached the point of maximum oil production than we are in very serious trouble since we have no real alternative at this time.
