Hard to say what the oil prices will do. At the moment we're heading into a sort of Depression which is characterized by deflation - lower prices - no credit - nobody spends - people hoard money. So far the big drops in prices have been oil and real estate - whether we'll see this with food I'm not sure. A lot will depend on Obama's stimulus ideas - if they work or not - if the republicans allow them through.
