What can the next president do to fix the oil price gouging going on?

The ONLY thing any president can do is put forth a proposal to Congress to put a price limit in it. Hillary wants to put heavy taxes in the oil companies but that will only lead to higher gas prices. If Congress allows the price freeze then it will be done but the president in general can't do squat about the price ';gouging'; that is going on.What can the next president do to fix the oil price gouging going on?
Two major things first, 1) allow our oil companies to drill in areas we can control and 2) cut the taxes on a gallon of gas.





Do you know that the oil companies in the middle east make most of the income from a gallon of gas?





Do you know that the United States and State governments make more income off of a gallon of gas than the American gas companies?





The third thing they could do is encourage new technology investment through corporate tax breaks.What can the next president do to fix the oil price gouging going on?

The first step would be to calm down the whole situation in the middle east........ after that...the only way we will see relief is to reduce how much oil we use....... sorry dude its simple supply and demand...the world use of ioil is skyrocketing

I really hope that President Hillary punishes the oil companies, as well as drug companies and finance.





That way more companies will leave the US, driving up prices and leading to The Collapse! Bring it on.
Nothing, its a simple matter of supply and demand. Its up to congress to allow more drilling and more refineries to be built so we can increase the supply, but the left wing liberals will not allow that to happen, so we all suffer.

oil companys make about 10 cents a gallon.


Government take 60 cents a gallon.





So who is gouging?
INSIST on a PLAN to Deregulate the Oil companies as we did the Phone companies....competition is good.


THEN, we go to Alternate fuels, a MUST and stockpile our Oil Reserves for 'us' only!
