Oil prices are at the lowest levels since early May. Why is our avg price $ per gallon not that low again?

In early May, the average price $ per gallon in the U.S. was under $3 per gallon. Right now, with oil back at that previous level, gasoline is still hovering around $4 per gallon. Tell me that Exxon Mobile is not gouging us.Oil prices are at the lowest levels since early May. Why is our avg price $ per gallon not that low again?
Because the $114.00 a barrel price is for September delivery price. When oil last month was $147.00 a barrel it is todays price.Oil prices are at the lowest levels since early May. Why is our avg price $ per gallon not that low again?
The minute the oil raises on the stock markets ,they change station prices. When it goes down it takes 2 months.

Yes they are screwing us big time.
prices are going down slowly here=paid $3.55 for regular yesterday
I paid $3.49 yesterday. I don't know what you are talking about.
